My Ceremonial and Celebrant Practice
I bring to my ceremonial practice more than 20 years experience working in the areas of ceremonial management, theatre and television production, event planning and delivery. My interest in ritual and ceremony began when I was a creative director and producer, and has developed through more than decade's experience planning and delivering of ceremonies for the Federal Government within and outside of Australia.
As a celebrant, I genuinely enjoy guiding people through life's transitions, be it a wedding, a joining ceremony or vow renewals, naming services or those ceremonies through which we farewell or remember someone we love; a funeral, burial or ashes placement or memorial ceremony.
Other than this website, I don’t advertise my services; I just make myself available to those who are seeking a genuine connection with a celebrant who can guide them through this moment in their lives. This is usually through referrals from previous clients and a very supportive friendship group.
If you are looking for assistance to vision, plan or write your ceremony, service or vows, I can provide this service without officiating.
My Yoga Practice
Yoga has offered me the opportunity to better understand myself mentally and physically. I am developing a teaching practice that celebrates yoga for all that it is now and all that it has been for thousands of years.
I share both a Hatha and Yin yoga practice that is without artifice or judgement and that welcomes anyone and everyone.
My yoga teacher, Dr Kellie Toohey taught me to teach what I know and love, so my practice flows slowly, challenges gently and is characterised by moments of fluidity, energy, stillness and ultimately moments of genuine joy in the enabling a balance of energies.
